Winslow is reluctant to bow to any authority other than himself, much less a grade school science teacher. But fortunately he was temporarily humbled enough to warn Conrad of the danger of not listening to the teacher’s instructions.
I’m sure many of us can relate to these moments of inaction prior to reality entering the room. Conrad needs some confidence that isn’t coming anytime too soon.
Conrad seems to be lacking the genetics for big arms, but also the will to overcome. Puberty sometimes arrives too early, sometimes too late, and other times not a all.

Conrad doesn’t have much authority in his own life, so sometimes a little “invented” authority gives him a little ego boost 😛
Conrad seems to be learning that little skill we all seem to develop – Rationalizing what we should do against what we want to do. Of course, Evil-Conrad seems to always sing the sweeter song 😛
