Feeding Time For Boris
The ugly details about the natural world are better left unseen to the delicate types. Unfortunately for Conrad he seems to be one of those.

Boris the Spider…where have I seen that before? The Who…where else? Oh yeah! MY COMIC. Calling my lawyers. :p
I think I got ya by about 5+ years on The Who, so I plead Octogenarian rights to it 😛
I kid, of course! You make a spider character, it’s almost natural to name it Boris if you’re a fan of The Who.
Can’t tell by your photos, figured you for about my age. Either that or I look younger in mine. I’ll be 41 in July.
True, true! I wrote a script in late 90s about an attic adventure. The spider’s name was Alfredo, but I couldn’t fit it into the comic text easily. So I changed it to Boris .. via The Who song. John Ent did set the naming tho LoL!!!
I guess it’s good the class doesn’t have a large snake, then.
Oh, nasty! Didn’t think about that one. True though!
That last bit of dialogue nailed it! 😀
Thanks, George! … read your reply over at Webcomics Alliance about your cartooning everyday for 3 years now. Impressive!!!
Thank you! I wish I was talented enough to put as much detail into my work as you do. It’s beautiful!
Thank you, George! … But the great thing about comics and art is it’s not arrested in one particular style, but instead it’s a grand mosaic of individual expressions and creativity.
You and I and many others are part of this, as equals. It’s certainly much better than sitting in front of the TV waiting to be entertained. You are a daily entertainer while I am only a weekly. Congrats to you!
Creepy crawlie, Creepy crawlie, creppy creppy, crawlie crawlie!
Just seeing all those words repeated like that gives me the willies! Ha!
Winslow means business… he reminds me of my daughter – she understands the circle of life… bugs get eaten!
This daughter of yours is going to be a shining star! logic first, emotions second. Good parenting!
… good action shot!
🙂
Now the spider is going to starve. 🙁
Hmmmm … I seriously never thought of that angle for over-sentimental naturalists. Interesting truth.
Oh man, the crickets in the last panel literally made me laugh out loud!
Good to hear! … Conrad isn’t the bravest of boys. A future Greenpeace donor for sure!
The crickets in panel 3 really cracked me up too Doug
Thanks, Tony!! 🙂
